Titled “Managing Fire Risk During Cladding and Insulation Removal and Replacement on High-Rise Buildings”, the session will focus on Ramtech’s recently FIA-approved CPD and the measures that can be implemented to maintain life safety throughout remediation projects.

The webinar will explore the fire safety challenges associated with removing and replacing cladding and insulation while buildings remain occupied, including the use of temporary fire protection and practical measures for reducing risk during works.

Johann Keen, Business Development Manager at Ramtech Global, will join Dan Martin, Fire Safety Consultant and Director of Construction Fire Safety Services Limited, as speakers.

Keen has experience across the fire safety, electrical and specification industries and has previously held National and Regional Account Manager roles at Ramtech. His work has focused on temporary fire and life safety during construction, refurbishment and other complex projects.

Martin brings around 30 years of experience across the fire and construction sectors, including 18 years in the Fire & Rescue Service and six years as UK Fire Safety Manager for a Tier 1 principal contractor. He has supported construction teams on projects ranging from smaller works to multi-million-pound residential, academic, healthcare and historic renovation projects.

During the webinar, Martin will provide a practical perspective on the challenges of managing fire safety during construction and refurbishment, drawing on his experience of complex remediation projects.

The session is aimed at principal contractors, health and safety managers, fire safety professionals, building owners and asset managers, as well as others responsible for maintaining fire safety during remediation works.

The webinar will provide attendees with insight into how temporary fire protection and other risk reduction measures can be incorporated into remediation projects while maintaining life safety in occupied buildings.
